Normandy Players is putting on two one-act plays for the next production, Last Panto in Little Grimley (sequel to Last Tango in Little Grimley) by David Tristram (2 men 2 women, ages flexible) and Easy Stages (2 men, 4 women, ages flexible) by NJ Warburton, which is about the stage crew trying to sort out the stage and props for a play with various mishaps. The production nights are Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 October 2010. Auditions are open to anyone from age 18 upwards on Thursdays 22 and 29 July starting at 8pm in the main hall at Normandy Village Hall. Rehearsals are every Thursday evening around 8-10pm in the main hall at Normandy Village Hall, Manor Fruit Farm (off Glaziers Lane) in Normandy, (between Aldershot and Guildford). Around 6-8 weeks prior to the production we double up to Monday nights. Please either turn up on the night or if you wish to discuss this with a member of the group beforehand, please phone Jill on 01252 660851. For more information please peruse the site, and make contact via our 'contact' page We
are always looking for people who are interested in joining us to help
read in at rehearsals, to see what is going on, to help back stage or
front of house during the shows run.
So please contact us or come along and
say hello!
We
normally meet every Thursday at 8pm and have a break in the middle of
the meeting for a chat and a cup of tea
and a biscuit (about 9pm), so if you have always wanted to join a
society, we are perfect people to visit. We meet in the large hall
downstairs (bear right on entry to the building, and
then through the double doors ahead (otherwise you will end up in the
Ladies!)
